Holwell Farm is set in a very picturesque and unique area on the outskirts of Bigbury Village, only five minutes from an old country inn with excellent restaurant, and a village shop with off-licence.Bigbury Golf Club with it's panoramic views is a most attractive links course, and bookings can be made for you in advance. There are facilities for boating, boat hire, horse riding and fishing. Sandy beached abound and only three miles away is the National Trust coastal walk from Aymer Cove beyond Ringmore, overlooking coastline, farmland and Burgh Island.
The busy market town of Kingsbridge, at the head of the Salcombe Estuary, is twenty minutes away by car - with shops, a large supermarket and rural museum. The library, tourist information centre and leisure centre with indoor swimming pool are all situated on the Quay.
There are many interesting places to visit nearby, including Salcombe, Totnes and Dartmouth. We are only twenty minutes from the A38 with the sharp contrast of Plymouth city centre and Dartmouth National Park on either side. In forty minutes you can be over the Tamar River and into Cornwall.
